@Barbarast @vanamerongen Ik had dezelfde reflex. Ik ken iemand die het uit betrokkenheid bij de publieke zaak ook probeerde. Maar verplicht naar een werkplek komen in een kantoortuin tussen planten met van die oranje korrels en collega's die er al decennia werken en teveel vergaderen, het was een te groot offer. Beter daarom ingehuurd worden als externe.
@rrustema @vanamerongen ah oei, ik heb andere ervaringen gelukkig. Ik word niet verplicht om naar kantoor te komen, kan veel vanuit huis doen. Ik heb een hele leuke baan en leuke collega's

PHP, go, TS, JS are the stacks I'm mostly familiar with, and I see a decent amount of job posts for these. Unfortunately, most of the jobs I see are mostly for US-based developers. I see you're from Amsterdam. If I see something that's open to a European hire, I'll let you know.

Location is Utrecht, right smack dab in the center on the Oude Gracht. Easy walking distance from the station.
Most of our software stack is written in Python, with some Fortran for running hydrodynamic simulations.
We are a water consultancy firm with focus on topics like climate adaption, flood risk and others.
Job openings are written in Dutch, but English speaking is not an issue.
