Remember when the extreme right people would talk about their "Free Speech" rights, and we all knew what they wanted- which was to use "Free Speech" as a pretense to cause harm to Queer folks, and Black folks, and anyone they didn't like.

We called it out. We made fun of them, called it "Freeze Peach", etc.

When someone, under the pretense of "Free Speech", physically assaults someone else, sprays hate messages on their home, shoots at their school, physically blocks them from entering their school or work, gives away maps of where a "certain type of person" lives, etc. that's also not "Free Speech". It doesn't matter what the cause is, and if it's someone from the Left doing it. It's still not okay.

Call it out. Call it Freeze Peach. Call it whatever the hell we need to call it to make it stop.

And if you defend this stuff, then as far as I'm concerned, you can go to the same place as the Proud Boys go.

Over 100,000 protest in Belgrade at an anti-government rally.

More than 100,000 protesters converged in Serbia's capital Belgrade on Saturday in what was likely the largest in a series of anti-corruption demonstrations that have upended the Balkan country in recent months.

Farmers join protesters as they arrive in Belgrade from cities across Serbia, to take part in the largest protest since the movement began.

My favourite proposed demonstration against Musk & Tesla is this:

Enter a Tesla dealership, engage the dealer(s) in an extended discussion of the car (& EVs more generally, perhaps), maybe even take the car for a test drive;

then after wasting an hour or so politely inform them that you're going away to think about it;

Rinse and repeat;

Tie them up in a way they can hardly complain about, but stops them actually selling any cars....

Sounds like a good weekend project?

You know what I don't understand
at least not completely

Ok there are strong protests against EMusky
The sales are fucked
The stock has taken a nosedive
Ok, so far so good
Protest is a must
(Even if I worry about all the employees)

But what about all these other idiots who are also happily standing next to DTrumpy?
I don't see that many memes etc
They don't have that much headwind

Boycott Google
Boycott Amazon

Please boost.

"....other countries keep asking why Americans aren't protesting, but we are & have been - the media isn't covering it...."
Protesters! Keep posting everything to social media. Over and over. Everyone, on every platform should be boosting it to help. Hopefully media from other countries will pick it up and we'll hear about it.

From Ben HsuBorger at #MEAction:

"Why I Joined a Stand Up for Science Rally"

"I have lived as an ME/CFS 'spoonie' for the past 20 years after I got a virus and never recovered. I’ve spent much of the past 10 years of my career advocating for ME/CFS research at the NIH"

"I don’t want to see the same scientific harms that have happened in the ME community become even more widespread across all of science"

Some of the first estimation figures in the aftermath of the #Belgrade #protest of March 15 2025 are around 800 000 protestants in the streets. Way to go, next time we'll reach a million (although it would be soo much better if we never get to a need for another anti autocracy protest ever)
