Three different groups of friends in three different states currently all have upper respiratory infections ranging from bronchitis, to pneumonnia. All three groups have had recent covid infections. Seeing the same thing with recent patients as well. Remember when the evidence pointed towards Covid causing damage making it easier to get other infections? Yeah, thinking there might be something to that...

#Folklore

There's actually some discussion about whether websocket URIs can have a query component. Apparently this is possible depending on the library you are using to receive the websocket connection requests. Thus, I suspect username/password components could be used in websocket URIs.

Stack OverflowCan WebSocket addresses carry parameters? Is ws://myserver.com/path?param=1 a valid WebSocket address ? The address http://myserver.com/path?param=1 (notice it's now http and not ws) works fine with wscat, but I can't get it working on the

One thing I initially found confusing with @element / @matrix: How one would share and join a channel. The way you get bounced between instances for that. And in a way for @Mastodon, too.

People describe these services as "just like email". But I think the one thing that is missing for that would be a proper #URI scheme and integration in browsers for things you can join or follow in these federated networks. Email has its established "mailto:foo@example.com" for instance.

#Uri Berliner's piece attacking #NPR is a joke. The evidence he uses is all debunked.

"But when the Mueller report found no credible evidence of collusion"

This is FALSE. The Mueller report found multiple contacts between the campaign and Russia (i.e. credible evidence), but "“the investigation did not establish such coordination”

Next is Hunter Biden's laptop, which supposedly showed:

"his connection to the corrupt world of multimillion-dollar influence peddling"

We all know how that went

Started week 3 of the OpenHPI online course “Knowledge Graphs - Foundations and Applications” and somehow I get the feeling that “Resistance is futile”, and that “I will eventually start using SPARQL to utilize the full potential of linked data”. And I got the following image of that… ;-)
