A customer has a problem getting our software to work with Microsoft's software. Instead of asking us, they contacted their Microsoft Support and asked for a solution.
This "solution" includes very detailed step-by-step instructions and a code example… with two security issues. Also, it completely ignores the problem.
Looks like they use #ChatGPT internally.
Instead of helping anyone, this ChatGPT/Copilot stuff only produces garbage that costs everyone a lot of unnecessary work.
We wasted time reading this nonsense, had to explain it to the customer (who doesn't know how to rate it), and now we're supposed to attend a meeting to explain to everyone why the (AI-generated) "solution" isn't a solution.
Great new world!
The suggested solution from Microsoft Support would not only unnecessarily allow us to read the complete datasets of all employees world-wide (more than 300,000), but also to delete them afterwards.
