Just… Josh :BlobCatTrashed:<p>So here are the issues I have noticed with finding a distro for the 2015 <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/macbook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MacBook</span></a>:<br><br>1) All <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/debian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Debian</span></a> based distros have issues with the screen/monitor not working<br><br>2) All <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/fedora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fedora</span></a> based distros when updating to Fedora 41 are borking my system. (<a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/rhel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RHEL</span></a> distros won’t go past the install screen)<br><br>3) <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/suse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SUSE</span></a> based distros will not install.<br><br>This is leaving me with <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/arch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Arch</span></a> based, <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/gentoo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Gentoo</span></a> based, <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/alpine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Alpine</span></a> based, or <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/bsd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BSD</span></a>.<br><br>When I get home I have a few BSD based distros to try out.
