Last night I went to the theater to see a play based on the novel "Mephisto" by Klaus Mann. It's from 1936, very topical and reflects the current developments in the USA in a frighteningly accurate way. A must-read.

It's about Hitler's rise to power and how people deal with it. Ignore or gloss over the situation? Deny yourself? Resist? Collaborate with fascists in the hope of not becoming a victim yourself?

Don't become a "monkey of power"!
