My parents are asking if iOS devices work “thanks to what I did”. More like they work despite what I did tbh

When they hear that I’m a software developer, non-techie folks generally don’t quite know what to picture, and imagine me doing something like IT support.
The best and quickest way I’ve found of explaining it is, “No, no, I don’t fix people’s computers. I’m one of the people who •makes• all the computer problems in the first place.”
