Leqaa Kordia, who is from the occupied West Bank, had been on a lapsed student visa. Separately, an Indian national left the U.S. after her enrollment and student visa were unlawfully revoked. Ranjani Srinivasan was expected to graduate this year with a doctoral degree from Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Her lawyer said she was arrested the night students took over what’s now known as Hind’s Hall, though she did not actually participate in that protest.

We held another pop up cafe at my house this weekend. I love hosting these.

We combined forces with mi cuñade and their LGBTQ+ youth of color org, Fortaleza Familiar.

Mileiydi made arroz trifacico and ensalada de pollo. Alice, a Venezuelan trans woman with Fortaleza, made flan.

Like the #50501movement protest I went to, it was a beautiful convergence of queer, trans and immigrant communities.

Hi there! Lately I have been working to print and distribute radical zines (and PPE) to my neighborhood's little free libraries and community fridges. As a disabled comrade, I sometimes find myself feeling like I can't do enough - but things like this is my way of getting my boots on the ground!

It is my current goal to purchase a laser printer so I can print many more zines and also take on print jobs for folks who want a trusted place to print their own flyers/zines, etc.

To that end I have set up a Liberapay at https://liberapay.com/drscully/ to fund this goal. I am looking to raise $500 USD to purchase the Brother MFCL3780CDW. Any surplus (for example if I manage to snag a refurbished unit) will go towards keeping things going with paper and toner and PPE for the community.
