I spent an hour debating nomenclature. It was an hour well-spent, because failure to find a reasonable way to express domain logic shed light on an underlying misunderstanding about the requirements. Disagreements on nomenclature almost always stem from deeper problems.

7am - In a teamviewer session for 1.5h already. Watching a person executing an existential, daily business process made of importing, transforming, comparing & exporting Excel files to distill a bunch of CSV files with 3 columns. 🤯 Automation is hard b/c of 3 propriatary systems

As a software developer & maintainer I really dare not to rant about other software, but - after hours spent - #Microsoft (family) accounts, Win10 users, MS store purchases, logins, pins, etc. is the worst UX I have ever had when setting up something digital for my kid. 😑👎
