Since I will be starting to work on a public SDK, a lot of this discussion is good to keep in mind.
For a given API, relying on the provided client SDK is risky.
When they abandon it or don't keep it up to date, you have to take on maintenance of their code yourself.
You may as well write directly against the API itself and be future-proof.
This man is technically correct, the best kind.
@dragonmantank to be fair it does sound like the security update will prevent anyone from hacking information off your machine in the future
