@davidbisset i strip those in my client since some searches will include them.

the reason is 99% of the time the browser will jump to that spot before the images/fonts/accept-our-cookies/donate bullshit finishes loading.

which then shifts all the page content, so the thing highlighted is no longer on screen.

so then i stare at a screen that has nothing what i wanted on it. then 50/50 guess scroll which way. always guess wrong. ctrl+f anyway. not worth the network bytes to transmit that url.

@bobmagicii Interesting. Maybe why I haven't seen much of them, but in all the samples / example so far they work like a charm. No shifts though.
