No judgements here just observations.
@dgoosens actually i've been meaning to poke a little more over there. Seriously. Seems a little "marketing speak" boring but at least more adult.

Would not call it adult at all...
Here's what you get:
1. self promotion and a lot of arrogant people that « know everything » and try to monetize themselves
2. corporate greenwashing
3. very dull conversations where nobody takes a stand cuz that might be bad for self promotion (see point 1)
definitely not enough #GIFs (I probably posted 50% of all the GIFs on LinkedIn on my own)
@dgoosens "adult" was a wrong term for me to use in this context. Boring, dull, but relatively safe. Like a glass of water at a tailgate party.
@davidbisset Some have been freaking out about #meta (#facebook) but I think many people here are also excited about #threads because it is just going to solidify how far ahead of everything other than #twitter the #fediverse is in actual user numbers
@73ms Facebook and Instagram have a ton of users. Not sure how this will play out. It might bomb. Will be interesting and there's pros/cons for #Fediverse and #mastodon
