Allergy update: turns out, not allergies. Definitely a virus. Last night was rough, but feeling on the mend today. Covid tests negative. I'm guessing my son shared something he picked up at daycare. Perks of parenting 😅

Fun times this morning sorting through MySQL collation incompatibilities so that MySQL 5.7 and 8.0 can play nice together.

A quick tip for new users: don’t compare Twitter with Mastodon. You’ll get the best out of Mastodon if you see it as something different and come to it with zero expectations.

Excited that our entire dev team at work has moved to VSCode + remote SSH dev environments. So far no major hiccups! Now a majority of my local machine's resources can go toward running Slack 😂
