@Crell It would help in the UK as well, but alas, for London mayor elections the Tories made us go back from AV (ranked voting of your two best choices) to FPTP. Only really so that they think they now have a chance here. It sucks for all parties except the biggest two, and millions of people now can't express their real choice.
@derickr Yep. The only serious opposition to RCV comes from those who only have power because of plurality voting.
